A Typical Day at the Fair

The event is conceived as a slow and immersive cultural experience rather than a conventional trade fair. Guests, exhibitors, authors, publishers, and visitors live together within the same atmosphere for several days, creating continuous opportunities for exchange and new encounters.

Morning

The day begins with breakfast overlooking Lake Maggiore, where participants naturally meet and continue conversations started the evening before.

After breakfast, guests may join optional walks through Ascona, Monte Verità, the lakeside, or nearby villages and landscapes of Ticino. Others may remain at the hotel library, browse the book tables, or meet exhibitors and collectors.

Late Morning & Afternoon

The exhibition spaces open with rare books, antiquarian editions, contemporary esoteric publications, symbolic art, manuscripts, and independent research materials from international participants.

During the day, conferences, lectures, and book presentations take place in the salons of the hotel. Authors, scholars, researchers, and speakers present works connected to esotericism, spirituality, symbolism, philosophy, psychology, art, and consciousness studies.

Lunch is shared together in a relaxed atmosphere, encouraging discussion between guests and participants.

Some afternoons may include excursions and visits in the region: Ascona, Locarno, Monte Verità, islands, museums, cultural sites, vineyards, gardens, or selected historical locations connected to the spirit of the event.

Evening

At sunset, guests gather for aperitifs on the terrace or in the bar, creating informal moments to meet new people and continue conversations.

Dinner is experienced collectively, often around large shared tables where exhibitors, visitors, speakers, artists, and guests dine together.

After dinner, the evenings continue with concerts, readings, film screenings, discussions, or spontaneous presentations.

Late into the night, the hotel bar becomes a place of conversation, encounters, ideas, and new synergies — recreating the atmosphere of the historical cultural salons that once defined Ascona and Monte Verità.
